Note: This CME is visible to the west in GOES CCOR-1 and SOHO LASCO C2/C3 imagery. This event is directed towards STEREO A and is therefore not observable in the STEREO A COR2 coronagraph. The source is likely an eruption from Active Region 14510 (N14W80) starting around 2026-08-18T13:30Z seen in SDO AIA 131/171/193/304, GOES SUVI 131/171/195/284/304, and STEREO A EUVI 195/304 imagery. An opening of field lines is visible over the northwest limb at this time in SDO AIA 193 and GOES SUVI 195/284 imagery.
